Can't trade, whisper and party with other players because of renaming a char

I decided to try a new feature, I wanted to change a name to my gemling char. Now I'm out of trade league it seems, I cannot interact with other players, though I see them in towns, but there's no "Trade" button, "whisper" button is grey also.

How does it happen?

1. Expire your char's name
2. Log in to the char, set a new name
3. Look at "Connecting." on the screen for 15 minutes
4. Reboot the game, look at the brand new name, start playing
5. Get a whisper for a trade, then realize you cannot invite him to party, although whispering is not possible too
6. Log in to other chars, see that they all have the same problem
7. Try again, look at "Connecting" on the screen, hoping it will connect correctly and get my account back to the trade.

Sooo, hope it's going to solve soon, cause I wanted to have a great weekend with my favourite game. Doubt I can enjoy SSF as much as I enjoy trading. Not really a big problem to lose ability to play the game, that want to take all your free time, but still :) If i wanted to stop playing poe, i would like it to be my decision

UPD: Crossplay was off, lol, but I wasn't activating that checkbox in settings.

Can party, trade and whisper with other players :) Still confusing it is connecting forever after changing name, and probably renaming your char deactivates your crossplay
