A few questions from a new player...

Hey there I was just wondering about some of the following questions please use the simplest terminology as I have very little game knowledge thanks...

- Is there somewhere I can find newbie friendly guilds don't get me wrong though im more than ready to grind towards endgame just need some guidance and preferably a community to join something like a guild or community discord would be nice to know about

- Things that are easy to miss or choices that are very one sided but might not be obvious at first (ie 15% elemental resistance from the bandit quest in POE1) also maybe side quests that are very useful but easy to miss...

- Any useful guides would also be appreciated for example builds or external tools/websites that will make life a whole lot easier

Also just quickly not sure which class to play planning on going as far as I can by winging it but once it gets really hard I want to be able to respec into a setup that can carry me into the end game which classes would work for this?

1) Guilds are a thing but they are not as optimized for social and learning. There are a few out there that advertise in global channel, and I'm sure you can google for a few of their discords.

As for guides, again google or youtube will be your friend. Dont feel afraid to look at beginner guides for path of exile 1 as a lot of the mechabics are the same, even though calculations are different. You might also be able to find a fee twitch streamers to follow and learn.

2)since its EA, there aren't a lot of variations right now. The Candlemass boss provides some extra HP for defeating him which may be good/bad depending on build. Ewch elemental boss through the campaign also adds permanent resistances. The relics in act 2 (and cruel) offer a toggle-able buff that you can change in valley of the titans. And lastly, the venom crypt quest in act 3 has a multichoice option that is currently NOT changable. So looking into those options would be the only thing.

If you view your map (u-button on PC) it shows all the quests and objectives. Some are as simple as killing a rare and offer no real reward other than what the rare drops though.

3) poe2db.tw/us is a good resource for a list of items, bosses, affixes, etc. Other sites like maxroll are a good place to plan a build or view others. Lastly, the most powerful tool veteran players use is a program called Path of Building. It can be very complicated for new users though.

4)its cheesy, but play what sounds fun. Spark/archmage builds are very powerful right now. But they are expensive to gear later. They also struggle through campaign until about lvl 58. Minion builds are very smooth through campaign and could easily get you into maps to mess around.

I recommend trying something and exploring. All builds can respec your passive tree with just gold now, so its easy to change builds. But you CANNOT change your ascendancy.
