Path of Exile 1 crashes my PC during loading screen

Hello,
Whenever I launch the game and select my character, path of exile (1) crashes my computer. This is a consistent problem that is prevent me from playing the game. I had the same problem with PoE2. I've tried troubleshooting it with all the renderers and the problem still occurs. The only fix that I've found is to disable multithreading in the settings. Computer specs: Ryzen 7 9800X3D, NVIDIA 4080 Super, 32GB DDR5 6000 MHz ram I'm running Windows 11 Version 24H2 (OS Build 26100.2894) Game Settings: DX11/12/Vulkan, Triple Buffering Enabled, Multithreading on, Vsync off, all other settings at minimum. (Multithreading off prevents the issue) I can't take a video or screenshot because my computer crashes. Please let me know if there is a way to fix this issue without disabling multithreading. Same happen to me for the past 2 months.
Happens on my desktop and on my steamdeck too. Windows 11 Version 24H2 AMD Ryzen 5 5600X RTX 3060ti 32 gb of ram |

Same issue has been happening in poe2. I reverted my windows to 23h2 and had no crashes for weeks. Then windows decides to auto update to 24H2, wanted to test if the crashes were still happening, a few hours into poe1 and I had a full computer crash during loading screen. Restoring back to 23H2 as I post this.

This was happening to me on POE2. Decided to level a few chars on standard on POE1 to kill time, and it's happening to me on POE1.
POE1/2 is the only game that completely freezes my PC, for no apparent reason. It's on loading screens, yeah. I have to hold the power button. It's happening to me on 23h2 and 24h2. AMD9800x3d 4080super 32gb ram |

It won't let me enter with my character, he is a hellish witch and apparently he has gone into demon mode. The same thing recently happened to me and I solved it and today it happened again, pls help

Yeah, It's happening to a friend of mine to. The same shit that's hitting POE2, it's hitting POE1. We're both W11 though he has a lower config.
Whenever there's a loading screen, there's a chance the cpu will clog and mouse starts moving slowly, or the sound goes on a weird loop, etc. and the result is you have to power cycle to shutdown the PC. Maybe we'll have to use POE Uncrasher after all. |
