Controller feature request - option to default targeting directly under you (at your feet)

I've noticed that most spells default to targeting like 3m in front of you.

However, there's a lot of spells that I would rather "lay it directly below me". Kind of like how Sigil of Power currently works.

Two examples:

1. I often cast cursed ground before I fight bosses and it'll be way easier if it cast directly under me when I'm standing right next to the boss. The game doesn't even auto target cursed ground on the boss until the boss is damageable (which defeats the purpose of pre-casting cursed ground).

2. When I weapon swap to my secondary, I summon skeletal cleric around me. Then I want to immediately cast soul offering, but the game targets away from me so I either have to wait for the skeletons to run there, or use my right stick to drag the cursor back to me (takes about 1 second either way) for soul offering to sacrifice a skeleton. If the game just cast soul offering at my feet then I could do this whole combo in like 0.2 second instead of 1.
