Request to nerf Ground effects

Can the ground effect be nerfed or totally removed? Its impossible to see it in most of the maps. and if you have a melee character it's an instant kill half of the times. The trail of fire mod is one of the most annoying ones for me at the moment.

And please nerf or remake the trial of sehkemas. it annoys the hell out of me.
