Crash when approaching Trial Rewards in Trials Of Chaos

Description:
Game crashes with "Failed to create texture" error after Trials is done, causing loss of completion rewards.

Impact:
- Placed back at the start of trials (or just completed state) with no token inserted
- Complete loss of Trial rewards due to crash

Repro:
1. Enter Trials
2. Complete Trial challenges
3. Crash occurs after killing boss before using exit portal
4. Upon restart, player is outside Trial with token consumed and no rewards

Specs:
GPU: NVIDIA RTX 3090, so no VRAM issues.
Initially on DirectX12, later switched to Vulkan renderer to hopefully not get it again.

Expected:
- Crash could be fine, but losing rewards sucks
- Maintain access to reward room if crash occurs before using exit portal
