How can we progress if there's a handcuffed behind our backs?
I'm losing interest playing this game, the XP Penalty is too much punishment and no respect for player's time.
It was deliberately placed for player retention, and to hold back player's progression. How can we enjoy playing this game if we are clawed behind our back. Last bumped on Feb 4, 2025, 6:48:59 PM

" Get Omen of Amelioration. It cuts exp loss down to 2.5% instead of 10%. Costs like 150 exalts or so, so not too expensive if you are past lvl 90 and if you aren't dying like every 10th map. |

Instead of crying, what stops you from asking "how to make my character tanky so i don't die often or ever"?

" FYI, on level 97 even you use omen its still reduce exp a lot too. |

Here are a few options :
1. Omen of Amelioration (2.5% instead of 10%) 2. Omen of ressurgence (risky, but you can refill hp/energy shield when low) 3. Git gud All of the 3 options are viable. |

And how we can progress after reaching level 100? Max level should be 1 million and all players should be able to reach it fairly easily, it is the fundamental design flaw to make max level so low! No, 1 billion! No wait, 100 trillions! It will make the game so much better!
Changing max lvl from 90-95 to 100 changes basically nothing and all endless cryies about XP penalty are only about making this change. Last edited by Suchka_777#4336 on Feb 4, 2025, 6:43:27 PM

" Instead of crying everywhere about the exp loss, follow the mentioned steps. If you still die with level 97 so often that you don't get enough exp - stop asking the game to change, instead, change your build/gear/passives/skill/etc. The exp loss wasn't a problem in PoE1, but suddenly ppl complain about something that has always been there. You should not have an issue to gain exp with a nearly maxed character unless you do something wrong, that's the entire point. |
