Dying with full energy shield, using CI and Mind over Matter

The last few times I've died, I've taken no energy shield damage and even died with 300+ mana on one occasion.
I'm also using Eldrich battery and Everlasting gaze to maintain energy shield. Last bumped on Feb 4, 2025, 4:42:52 AM

Check you Mana Flask if it has a modifier saying that restoring mana takes x% of your Life. Many get surprised by this one.

Or did your character die to the River Hag's Drowning Orb: River hag instalkill bug?
