streamer lemmings mood just toxic. destroys every game and community

I've noticed that lately more and more influencer streamers are actually just hyping a game for the money, playing it for a long time to earn a lot of money and when it gets boring or the content is simply gone, because they'll play 4-8 p.m. a day content and the game are badmouthed and we move on to the next game.
strange because even in poe 1 the in-game chat was never particularly great but it wasn't even remotely like it is now in poe 2. why? I notice that various streamers and arguments always come with “yes, but they made a video about it”.
It was with lost arc, with new world, with last epoch (although it is still a good game) with diablo 4 and now with poe 2.

and since most people weren't even there for the poe 1 release, poe 1 was just like poe 2 at the beginning and had little content and massive problems





I don't like everything either and yes, the fact that "poe 2 has no effect on poe 1" was a lie. but it continues and you can still play everything as usual and it's still f2p.

Stay behind or move forward, the decision is up to you, after testing Poe 2 for more than 600 hours I know that I will not be able to go back to Poe 1 easily.

what OP is describing is a symptom not the cause, and are you even after a solution or you just want to discuss it?

Eh, not really sure what the gripe is, or why I'm replying but if you think about it; why post a wall of text when a few minutes of a content creator saying the same stuff exist?

I mean I choose the wall o text myself most of the time, but I don't blame anyone for pointing at a vid of distilled thoughts.

One of my favorite ways of dealing with zoomers who say "Diablo 2 was just as fast as POE is" when I'm arguing that POE'1 top end pace is super dumb is point them to a D2 speed runners POE review were calls it silly and unengaging.

It used to be everyone was on the games forum and feedback was more or less equal but these days its reflected onto YT, Reddit and twitch and like it or not that distribution is hear to stay.

I'll be honest sometimes I really dislike it myself, when everyone ups and plays Diablo 4 and causes me to make the worse gaming purchase in 30+ years in the hobby. Now a bunch of them are doing WoW classic HC and I'm feeling the "what am I missing out on" vibes... but fuck buying blizzard products ever again... probably.
