No citadel on the map.
There do not seem to be any citadels on my map.
I saw older posts that reported the same problem, but never a response from GGG. I also do not see this problem in the pinned list of known issues. So... is this a known issue in the current patch? Last bumped on Feb 3, 2025, 8:45:01 AM

" I still have the same problem, without any solution so far. I'm in the t14 Quest now and have never seen any citadel so far. IGN: Darkrox (not my main, just for easy contact)

they are still in fog of war just with patch there's markers and view field is expanded, you need to path more to encounter one, eventually you will.

+1 to the issue.
However to provide a bit of extra context. I was running maps and couldn't see any citadels in sight, I ran a tower and suddenly there was a citadel + a beam present in the newly revealed area. Are they perhaps in some cases not being rendered correctly (the beams)? Lately as I've moved around some beams have popped up outside of my area, so in some scenarios they are there, but in some cases not. It seems to not be an all or nothing issue. Best of luck developers - I know your struggles. :see_no_evil: |

You need to path quite a bit away from starting place before they show up.
I recommend you just try to map in one direction away from start until you start seeing beams. Only the fog around revealed areas are actually generated so you won't see beams from very far away/very deep in the fog. (I think maybe 2 screen size of fog max away from a revealed area will show beams). |

" I already revealed an area with approx. 250-300 nodes. Even if this is not a bug, this is at least something to reconsider as part of the EA since no casual gamer will ever reveal any citadel if that is how many nodes it takes not to discover a single one.
