Traveling to new zone BRICKS my pc

I noticed early on that when traveling to new zones my pc would either stutter then go through or more often freeze my entire pc and I'd have to hard reset. the only "fix" is to turn off Engine Multithreading when moving from zone to zone and even then when progressing through the acts is would crash on the cutscene. I've dealt with it and had my fair share of fun on the game but it's very demoralizing to deal with
