My high end PC keeps freezing

I just sent this game to their tech support but I wonder if someone else has a solution:



Hi, great game but it constantly (at least once an hour) freezes my PC where I have to power it down … usually when loading a new area.. Sometimes it just crashes to desktop.

My PC:

ASUS 870 motherboard
AMD 9800X3D
Nvidia 4090 Founders Edition
96GB Kingston 6000MT RAM
Samsung OLED wide screen

It runs very stable on all other games

Any suggestioms?

If it's the same freeze as in PoE 2 you can try uninstalling KB5048667.

Windows update > Update History > Scroll to the bottom > Uninstall Updates > KB5048667 uninstall > Restart computer

Pause updates so it doesn't automatically install itself.
