how much ES before you go 1 life?

is there like a "minimum" benchmark you need to hit before going 1 life?

If by 1 life you mean CI only, 3-4k will be manageable early maps, 5-7k for late endgame, you could get away with slightly less if you also run grim feast for mapping.
If its CI+MOM+EB int stacker, you'll probably be fine with 5-6k mana as a starting point depending on the content you're doing. |

Between levels 70ish and 92, I have mapped with between 2,300-6,000. The more ES I had, the weaker I felt.
/shrug I run Grim Feast which effectively doubles your base ES, so at ~2,300, I was quickly in the 4,600 range. Play around with it. See what works for you. |
