Heart tether in Trials of Chaos

the past couple times ive picked the heart tether one once it spawns in the heart doesnt just slow me in completely immobilizes me, i cant even roll or anything. normally i can slow walk or roll out of it but lately its just an instant death, is there something im missing? to me this feels like a bug, also im a level 88 ranger
