monk socketed support gems lost when ascendancy skill change by refund

i have unbound avatar skill at my monk with 4 support gem socketed, tried to refund passives and get elemental expression skill, but after refund, all support gems are lost. i tried refund again and get unbound avatar again but support gem slots were empty. i think there is a bug there, socketed support gems should move to inventory or game shouldn't let me to refund passive while support gems socketed into skill.
