Big win for him and the PoE1 community.

Shame GGG can't spare a few hours or see the interest in this league and comp the whole thing as a gesture of goodwill.

most probably are just spending points they already have. that's still good for GGG (it's bad to have unused points sitting in the economy for too long), but it's not necessarily them making more money - they already made that money.
