GGG, Your Poe 2 Trade Site is Ruining the Experience
For the sanity of players in this game, PLEASE FIX THE TRADE SITE.
I whisper 100 times a day trying to buy items on the trade site, and I get no response. It’s always accounts with low-price bait listings, wasting my time. Seriously, GGG… this isn’t right. Don’t be like those world leaders who run things into the ground, only to have people dislike your leadership. "Everything rises and falls on leadership" — John C. Maxwell This official trading site is NOT justice. The amount of grief it causes casual players just trying to buy or sell items is ridiculous. It’s the same BS as hackers in shooters who exploit bots, scripts, or whatever garbage they use to gain an unfair advantage. Stop bending over for the people abusing the system. It’s NOT right. It’s beyond frustrating dealing with price checkers, bots, and "shady" market manipulation. Are we supposed to flood the market with bots too just to compete with these people as well? If everyone botted, no one would be able to trade legitimately. The way your trading site for Path of Exile 2 stands now: -- GGG's official trade site is a breeding ground for exploitation. I’ve lost count of how many times (hundreds and hundreds) I’ve tried buying an item with zero replies. This is supposed to be a GGG-managed market, not some bootleg black market run by cheaters, foreign gold farmers, and RWT violators. Call them what you want, but they’re ruining the system. I see and hear players complaining about this constantly on Reddit, Facebook groups, and even your official Discord voice channels. And let’s be real—how many players have quit because of this? New players hit a brick wall when they can’t buy even basic gear. Veteran players get fed up and leave. This trade system is literally pushing people out of the game. Here are some Ideas: 1. Penalty for too many ignored whispers. If someone constantly ignores trade whispers, hide their listings temporarily. If they don’t want to trade, they shouldn’t be selling. Some cheaters may counter this by adding an automated response to avoid triggering this penalty, something to look out for. 2. Verified listings. Introduce a small listing fee (like 1 Chaos Orb) for high-value items. It discourages bots and price manipulators. This may be the least preferred option since it's terrible for the legit player base. 3. Instant buy options. If an item is priced at a fixed amount, let buyers purchase it instantly. No more playing the waiting game with unresponsive sellers. This is a GREAT OPTION. Other ARPGs have fixed this problem. Why is PoE still struggling? Trade should be engaging, not a frustrating battle against bots and market manipulators. We need an update. This is exhausting. Imagine spending hours of your life just trying to make a trade—hours you’ll never get back. Nobody wants to feel this level of frustration from a core game system. We are SICK of it. P.S. Content creators, step up. If you care about this game, talk about this issue. If we don’t push for change, it’s never going to happen. Spread the word. Last bumped on Jan 31, 2025, 12:27:17 PM

Why do you try to buy unrealistic prized items and wonder that you get no response ?
Never had an issue with the PoE Trade system not in PoE 1 nor 2. Also people selling stuff are not always waiting just for you. |

Clearly discernment and maturity is needed in this topic.

100% agree OP. But GGG is stubborn, stupid mule.

" Fixed that for you. General discussion gaming forums are almost always a cesspit of ignorance and trolls.
