Following in the foot steps of:
Blizzard Ubisoft EA Bethesda Square Enix Etc... They are taking the years they spent building up a community and making a name for themselves as one of the best publishers, only to squander it on a single influx of cash from PoE 2. Now that they have the influx of cash, they are going to pour all their time into PoE 2 to ride the wave as long as possible. In the meantime, they're already lying and destroying the initial fan base that made all of this possible, flushing out the old in hopes that new players keep them afloat making them more money than just keeping their die hard fans happy and it will potentially make both sides miserable. At best, they lose their main support base in hopes for new player money. It's a common story in the industry now and it's super sad to see. I /salute you PoE, but this is going to be the starting point in a couple years for all the videos titled "Where did GGG go wrong?" and it's so obvious it's hard to see how GGG don't see it. " Tencent may be the reason they were forced to release and the reason they are rushing BUT seeing how they handled other companies (namely from own experience i can say the Tencent owning Digital Extremes - Warframe - had basically no perceivable influence on the developer or the game) they bought i dont think the real blame is on them no this is GGGs own doing and i get the feeling that the marvel of a game that PoE1 has become is hated by the lead developers because the community forced them to move the game in different direction that theyr "vision" was originally... and now they are trying to force feed us theyr "vision" in 2 which is already failing with a large pushback so theyr go-to solution is to kill the PoE1 to remove the option for players to stick with the original. Were you afk during the time they had to stop posting on reddit because every post got 10+ downvotes and people, including content creators were comparing them to blizzard and others? this IS NOT NEW AND I'VE BEEN TRYING TO REMIND YOU ALL FOR YEARS BUT YOU ARE ALL NPCS THAT GET ON YOUR KNEES FOR THE SHILLS AND GGG whenever they put a 2 second video out about nothing. |
