Jonathan is not a natural manager.

It is astounding to read about Jonathan's leadership failures during his assignment to PoE 2.

Failed Deadlies. Broken Promises. GGG staff completely worn out and had to take 1 month winter break.

It's just disheartening to hear that Jonathan just can pull valueable people from PoE1 Team to PoE2 at any given moment with the snip of his fingers.
Imagine you are in the middle of writing some code to a a complex problem and then you have to stop becuase Jonathan just discovered Elden Ring and now the whole company has to implement dodge roll. OR Jonathan plays Destiny and now everyone has to work on Pumpguns. I mean Crossbows.

Jonathan jusst does not have the aura of a person that demands respect when he enters a room. Chris did.

GGG really needs to focus up.

Get a real manager than can deal with people, identify people's core strengths and assign them properly.

You guys need to hire immediatly
Look at e.g. how Poketpair ( Palworld ) dealt with the unexpected popularity and which swift actions they have taken so scale up the project.

Agreed I'm new to PoE as a whole since PoE 2 and it's remarkable how much the serious issues with this game parallel that of Destiny and Destiny 2.

By the way, Destiny 2 was NEVER ABLE to reach anywhere near 10% of it's full potential after a full decade because of horrible management.

I would be genuinely massively depressed if this happens to POE 2.
Hire some people who play the game too, I could use a job after wasting almost 40,000 hours of my life on this game.

Heck they used my concepts for sanctum and a bunch of other stuff.

Jonathan hook me up dude, I'll ride this ship to the bottom of the sea.

Edit: no comment on Jonathan's management, I just wanted to chime in on that hiring bit, If somehow he's not a super effective manager they should just get one and let Jonathan do whatever it is he's best at with no drama.

There's no shame in stuff like that, You make the best decision you can when you can with the information you have, Its making that decision that makes the ultimate difference going forward.

Innocence forgives you

Yeah, it's not a good look.

I find it honestly laughable how no one apparently could put it together that half a year down the line they'd have issues releasing a game into early access and delivering on a promised league.

Cat's out of the bag now and only time will tell how this affects GGG and their games going forward, if at all.

People need to calm down a little and should consider getting distracted elsewhere while GGG is adjusting. Being mad won't change things especially after yesterday's video. You got the update, now adjust.
Tech guy
It’s unfortunate because players were led to believe PoE1 had a future, but based on what was said today, the next league will probably be its last. I feel for them.
