Time for another manifesto?

Been ages since that forum was used.

How about a manifesto on how GGG views both games and support for them, realistically?

Because it sure feel like, since Jonathan hates PoE and doesn't even play it anymore, that PoE is going to perpetually get scraps and be pushed to the backburner because PoE2 is what GGG is actually excited/passionate about.

At least let us know that PoE is becoming a side project so we can scale our expectations and financial support (or lack thereof) accordingly.

Some of us aren't fans of PoE2, and don't see ourselves ever becoming fans with the nonsensical design and terrible decisions made during development - many born from Jonathan's refusal to look at any of the problems PoE solved in recent years to carry those learnings to PoE2.

They haven't begun work on 3.26.
It shows what they think of PoE1 at this point.

A manifesto about what? How they have a vision(tm) and if you don't see it, it's your fault?

They wanted to force Ruthless (a game mode that sub 1% of the player base enjoyed) on to everyone, and they did, that's all the manifesto you need.

The video will be it. For the next 5 months give or take.

Next league is coming at some point.. probably but if and when it does happen, it ain't anytime soon so there's nothing really for them to talk about right now that the cat's been kicked out of the bag.
