Demon Form +6 to Spell Skill levels Not Working - socketed comet in barrier invocation

As the title said, the +6 to spell skill levels does not apply to my socketed comet in my barrier invocation. This seems like a bug, and it really is bricking my build. I have seen videos where this works correctly for other folks.

I play on PS5, maybe this is a factor
