Now that we know its delayed for a while whats the plan for all of you?

I was expecting a March release but now that its delayed potentially until April-July~ what do you lovely PoE 1 enjoyers have planned? Lose Weight, Drug Counseling for all that Hopium and Copium ingested, play D4 (lol)?

POE1 is dead. POE2 is struggling and new content for POE1 would kill it. There would be a mass exodus back to POE1, and the remaining POE2 tourists would abandon that game as well. The POE2 momentum would be dead, and that would be a disaster for the devs.
They are all-in on POE2 and it sadly has to be at the expense of POE1. My plan is to wait for them to finally announce POE1 is officially dead, and then we can actually talk about making POE2 more like POE1, instead of being trolled that "POE2 and POE1 are different games, go play POE1." |

I am starting a fresh character on this necro/settlers combo as I didn't get to play much of the base settlers league. Now that the league is delayed, I'll grab some PoE 1 time.

" Honestly it's kind of the last flat out lie for me. You can't pull the core dev team off POE1 in the same month you promise no impact to POE1. It was a lie. Not dropping a league was intentional so POE1 fans had to try POE2 to get their long over due entertainment. Jonathan should consider his apology not accepted. We did deserve better and after what they pulled in Kalandra this is probably it for me. Don't get me wrong I'm a POE1 addict for sure. If March or April drops and it's good who knows, but if they just drop POE1 I'm out. POE2 is worse in almost every way. Every change / deviation from POE1 is something I don't like. If ya'll do that's cool. Enjoy backtracking, clicking wells, waiting 30 minutes to buy your 100th base just to craft a good chest piece. It isn't for me. |

" You are 100% correct. I dont trust Jon after this incident one bit as only lies have prevailed since he became 'director'. Chris was the only one whom I genuinely felt was a real human with emotions that truly cared about the playerbase despite being at odds with how the games direction went (zoom zoom and less friction). I still get to play PoE 1 and with this delay I get to attempt to accomplish beating Ubers in PoE 1 with actual Free to Play New Account. I dont know how long it will take but I am keen to try. I'll keep playing D4 and Nioh, having a blast with them. When either POE2 or 1 comes out with a new season, I'll play them.
