Just stopping by to say "We told you so" about PoE 1 getting sacrificed for the vastly inferior PoE 2.
I appreciate the transparency, but I can't pretend I'm surprised. Guess we'll get PoE 1 content "eventually" or "at some future point". Sounds like a great time to forget both PoE 1 and 2 exist until we get a new season. Last bumped on Jan 29, 2025, 9:40:15 PM

How did they manage to not get anything done with either game tho? They got bought out by a globo corp and made millions off a 1/10 finished reskin of poe1 but cant afford to hire extra people?

Most companies would have put PoE1 on life support and only release minor patches and bug fixes once work on PoE2 was started. Be happy they will even be releasing new content for PoE1 in the future.

What transparency? They waited until the day before we were expecting an announcement to tell us they haven’t even started on it? Seems like that could have been mentioned at literally any other time in the past few months?
