Failed to connect to instance | POE1&2

Been having "failed to connect to instance" over and over and over and over again for over a week now. The game is absolutely unplayable. I tried logging on to PoE1 as well, and same thing happens.
I can usually run 1 map, but whenever I try to go back to my hideout, I get disconnected with "failed to connect to instance"
Then, I log back in, try to enter another map - "Failed to connect to instance" 1 or 2 times before being able to join the map.
Joining another player's HO is impossible, which makes trade much more complicated.
I tried a bunch of things - PoE uncrasher, Launching steam as administrator, simply reinstalling etc, but nothing seems to work.
