Importing builds?

A lot of people use sites like maxroll but it'd be nice if we could import builds direcly into the game similar to a hideout.

I see a lot of videos on youtube claiming THIS INSANE BUILD DOES 1 TRILLION DPS... only to be disappointed my level 50 monk cant replicate it. Sure some builds are gear specific etc but it'd save so much time and effort if we could import/ export a build.

Imagine if we had to create our own loot filters instead of having people like neversink. maybe its possible and idk but thats on my wishlist

I am not sure if this is complete stab post, but I will answer it, taking the bait.

Path of building is the way to go.

Before you do something in-game, path of building is how you test if it works at least on paper.

Maybe there will be other issues, but you have to be sure that at least the numbers are correct.

Picking your class, passives, gear, etc... takes like 5-10 minutes.
And you can see how much damage it will do.

idk what a stab post is but ok, thanks for the suggestion. Im a noob so this is from my noob perspective.

imma be honest, i wont be doing that path of building stuff. I took a look at the UI and im not gonna get that deep into it. I just want someone more knowledgeable to do that.

I dont want to craft gear thats (random) garbage with the LITTLE currency i have.. i just want to buy one from the currency exchange/ vendor or trade site.

I just want simple gameplay.

Click import a build or Try a build (like a sandbox/ arena).. and go about my day.

Im playing the game on softcore.. that looks like something for the hardcore crowd
