Time played vs gain feels horrible

95% of my currency and gear comes from flipping in currency exchange trade, while trying to find a piece of rare gear with decent stats is like finding a mirror(okay maybe not that bad since i have never found 1).

endgame feels like chasing towers to sell the fragments because the drop rate on the gear from the boss itself is so low that even though you can kill him in 30 seconds it still feels like a huge waste of currency.

Map farming is more or less cancer with how much time you have to spend to 'prep' maps and towers just to hope it drops decent items and currency, in which most cases you can't notice a thing.

Overall i had way more fun in poe1 and honestly i would rate diablo 2,3,4 and even diablo 1 better than this game at the moment. (thank god its a beta but i regret supporting, paying and playing poe2)

on the bright side, can't say i don't enjoy it when i see a pair a gloves for 50 exalts and get over 2 divines for it... Should be Trades of Exile =)

u will always get more currency by flipping then playing its true in all games with trading, its up to personal choice how u decide to spend your time, in map or hideout i prefer running juicy maps

This is why I dropped PoE 1 years ago.

PoE 1 isn't challenging, it just has a knowledge barrier.

After that, it's just a matter of how much time you can burn in this game with little to no return because everything is full RNG with the odds deliberately lowered against you most of the time.

Trading "works" because you have literally dozens of thousands of human-hours being spent every single day dropping thousands of items.
So instead of having to drop, identify and slam 300+ rare gear pieces for each slot, you can buy from one of the few thousand people who have been doing it all week.

PoE 2 is just PoE 1 with better looks and a bigger marketing budget.
