Mark my words, you heard it here first. We're not getting 3.26, no - we're jumping straight into patch 4.0! New lore (What are you doing, dear Zana?), new atlas, new endgame bosses + some endgame reworks. Some past mechanic(s) will also make a return! Naturally, Settlers will go core. We're also getting some PoE 2 tech (Hello there, pause game) and oh my, the league the patch releases with is an absolute banger.

In before 3.26 recycles some old content and basically ends up being a re-release of Settlers of Kalguur.
I actually wouldn't have even minded that if they just basically wiped POE1 and released a new league with recycled content in December. At least it would have given the players that don't like POE2 something to do. Instead, GGG has basically declared war on everyone that prefers POE1 to POE2 and told us their vision for the game is better than what their player base wants. That always goes over well. |
