controller player help/question

i was hoping to get some clarification on your game poe2. i am a controller player and have been loving the experience so far! the controller setup allows me to hold any of my witch's skills and it will autocast over and over, which is very helpful as my hands can get really sore when clicking a button many times. some games have this as a toggle which i love and appreciate. my question is about the health and mana flasks as they do not operate in the same way and i often find severe hand fatigue when using them due to this. i have used controllers and steam input in the past for other games to allow for (hold=tap x button repeated for ex.) my friend is a longtime poe1 player and has said that GGG is opposed to keyboard/bind macros. i have not used these functions for fear that i would be breaking the rules, so i thought id message to better understand!

is using steam input for holding a button to tap a button repeated allowed in poe2 on controller?

loving the game! and will respect the terms of service to continue playing no matter what i was just curious as it is helpful for hand pain. you've created something great!
