Atlas zoom still not enough also lack of navigation system
I would like to see at least 100 map nodes per screen, now i can count as far as 30 average, can't we get even more zoom please? Moving screen 50 times with mouse is not fun, also the arrow keys doesn't work..
In axis its like 8-10 nodes... Maybe some kind of overlay/mini map, where we can see like Citadels and monolith, and how far are we from "home" Also I would like drop a flag/mark on atlas in different colors/names/icons (drop down list?) and quickly move over atlas into that zone, I ran a few maps, go to another area and then I spent ~5 mins looking for the previous area because I have no idea where I am... Also the arrow with meters/kilometers which pointing where is the monolith and change direction depending if we go top, bottom or to L/R side of the monolith would be nice. As the Atlas is infinite, I guess coordinates wont work, so please develop something :) Navigating in atlas is worse than getting lost in forest and trying comeback to main road. yeah i think putting down different coloured markers, maybe being able to label them, have a quick search or a thing we can press to jump between different types of markers like having a word search on a web page where you can keep clicking next to jump around.
the atlas is such a cool idea, i love it. but it really needs some management tools. I love all you people on the forums, we can disagree but still be friends and respect each other :)

My solution is to steal the last piece of Last Epoch end-game and add the "RESET" of the nodes.
In one of the interviews, if you remember - they said there will be implementing a system to reset the map. I was quite surprised when I haven't seen it into the game. Because it made sense that they will plain and simple copy-paste their Monolith idea... Weird. |

Some way of players being able to add navigation markers is required at this point
My map is probably nowhere near as big as other people's and it's already unwieldy as anything, I'm going cross-eyed trying to pan the map to work out where to go next |

i'm pretty sure that allowing us to switch to a 2D atlas layout will solve many performance issues and will also allow to navigate easier (zoom, filters, etc..)
pls add 2d atlas layout (copy from Poe 1) |
