Let us move/merge cosmetics or our characters to our other account

TL;DR: PoE creates multiple accounts for each platform connected. Let me move my characters or cosmetics between them.


When PoE1 came out there was just the GGG launcher. I purchased PoE2 through Steam (same mail address) only to realize my stash stabs and cosmetics weren't there. So after remembering I had an account not on Steam but with GGG I connected my Steam account to my GGG account only to find out that according to GGG I now have 2 accounts with the same name but a different number. One with my PoE1 stash tabs and cosmetics, the other with my PoE2 points.

After 2 replies in almost 2 months support tells me 'oh hey, we cannot do anything about this'. They recommend that I switch accounts. I am now essentially stuck with stash tabs and cosmetics in my poe 1 account, some cosmetics and a bunch of points in my poe2 account. Even if I switch my sub-account that still leaves me with the points and cosmetics from my PoE2 account that I cannot access on the PoE1 account. At the very least give me a refund for the points and I'll make the switch with my next char, but better yet: fix this properly.

I cannot believe how stupid and greedy this is. On what planet would this be considered 'connecting an account'. It's got nothing to do with that and it completely breaks the promise of saying we'd be able to use our PoE1 cosmetics. This is like saying 'oh btw, we want you to spend as much money as possible on tabs and cosmetics'.

This is all just data in a database that's easy enough to move. Let us have the option of moving all stuff from one account to the other and closing the other account permanently.

This has absolutely zero to do with a technical impossibility but is a wilful decision not to invest a bit of time to give us the right customer experience.

Bump.. I'd also be happy with the option to delete my account and have the points moved to the primary account by the end of the first season.
