Ascendacy trials tailored for each Class= balanced challange for all archetypes.

Each ascendancy should have their own trial that is different and more balanced towards the class its for. This will remove the 'unfair' from trials.

I'm still in favour of having the trials hard enough so that not everyone and their mom can complete them. last points should not be given to players and most should not be able to get them

You're asking to kill build diversity. If the trials are somehow "tailored" to your starting class, that means you're being directed down a very narrow and specific hallway.

Name one example that wouldn't remove entire archetypes from any given class.

Their answer for this balance is relics and 75% honour resistance for Sekhema, and (admittedly imperfect) your choices of debuffs for Chaos trials.

pretty sure the current system is trivialized by some builds while others will struggle with it. each ascendancy is already a 'very narrow hallway' compared to the old 'each class only diff is starting point on skill tree'. mechanics like honour should not be even available to classes that use armor is just one example

This is fine. Also, all builds are not created equal. Build diversity doesn't mean randomly choosing nodes on the passive tree and equipping whatever will work just as well as anything else. That said, I have conversed with an Invoker playing almost an identical build to mine who said Sekhemas was the worst content for his build, while I farmed it for a couple days it was so easy. It's not always on the game studio to hand-tailor every moment.

The skill tree is very similar. Yes, I would say it's harder to wrap around the entire tree, but that doesn't mean it's a narrow hallway. Only people who watch streamers obsessively and focus on the "meta" will think that.

There's some balance to be had, sure, and Sekhemas is probably the most in need (specifically warriors/armor/honour interactions as you mention), but I think fixing armor and balancing skills over time is a much better way than just scrapping entire mechanics.

the first paragraph is a straw man not gonna enageg it.

and sure if they can balance 3 trials in such way that none will be trivialized by any build thats great. if you are saying trivializing it its ok, then why not just give points for free? also gl with balancing this against all ascendacies.

all i'm saying the trails should be balanced around the perks you get from those asc trees, to provide adequate challenge. otherwise the whole concept of 'trial' collapses.
