Lack of Open Layout Maps makes Mapping Annoying
Compared to PoE1, mapping in PoE2 is mostly very obnoxious and annoying due to the impassable terrain/objects being placed in inconvenient spots throughout a map.
The following places that might seem great for a Breach, for example, actually turn into a horrid experience of literally running into a wall: Savannah, Oasis, Willow. I think perhaps the best map in the game right now is Steppe. Despite this map also having impassable obstacles, it remains the most open map in the game. Very little gets in the way of having a great Breach experience, unlike basically 95%+ of other maps. So, thanks, GGG. Thanks for making an item like Temporalis and a skill like Blink, and then adding obnoxious obstacles everywhere in almost every map. Last bumped on Jan 28, 2025, 8:20:15 AM

I miss Dried Lake...
These mostly narrow map layouts, with abundant choke points, is very annoying. I play a summoner, and for me it's a double pain. |

" Right? And somehow GGG didn't think to port Convocation over to PoE2 for summoner build? *Eye roll* |

well we have the weapon swap work around but then it makes using offerings during mapping annoying because it breaks the work around if any minion is dead .
