Toxic People - Its EA

Early access is a model that allows people to play a product before it's fully released. It's used in the video game industry, app development, and medicine.

Definition:
Early access is a way for people to play a game while it's still being developed.

I googled it for you, so now if you get upset you only have yourself to blame for unrealistic expectations. It was made clear before EA launched what the goals were and they made it clear how you should set your expectations. If you believe or think anything else it's your own fault.

The biggest problem I see with the game right now is the community itself. You have a bunch of PoE1 players leaving negative reviews and trying to downgrade the game because they are unhappy. You also have numerous people who apparently don't know the meaning of EA and that the game is not expected to release in its entirety until late this year or early next year.

If you're unhappy or too impatient to wait then come back when it's more developed, as you being in EA and only complaining is something no one wants. You're bad for the game.

Shifting all blame onto the other person, refusing to acknowledge their own mistakes.

This isn't feedback.

Early Access usually implies a more direct communication & involvement with the community, at least that's what Early Access meant for previous games.

This must be the first game in the history of this borderline scam called "Early Access" where a studio ignores their customers even more than before.

And as long as GGG will keep doubling down on this stance of "we're too good for communicating with the peasants!", this criticism and hostility will only escalate. At least as long as there will be players left.

Yeah, not once have I ever seen devs actively discuss anything in the forums of their own game ever since EA started. And the live stream Q&A was mostly just them being like "Yeah, but no, we don't think so. We tried it ourselves and didn't find it bad."

As I mentioned elsewhere, it's the normal outcome when you turn a bunch of nerds into millionaires, even if it's blood money from China.

Suddenly they love smelling their own farts, and don't care anymore when everyone else tells them it stinks.
