Impassible terrain in Decay map

In decay map, tier 15, irradiated and map boss present, I cannot access the entirety of the map. I can see additional area, with monsters present, but there is no way for me to get there, as the terrain is impassible. The map appears to be split into two separate areas.

I believe that i experienced the same issue, map was split in two separate "ilands" with a visable void, Luckily i had enough Int. to spec. Blink either way it would have been a lost map.
