Huge waste of time and effort

been playing poe2 for a few hours a week since I bought in a month or so ago, finally picked a character and got it to the ascendancy trial. I accidentally took the wrong one and now I have to start entirely over... huuuuuge disappointment. I hope this isn't how it is on full release.

Yeah, I picked Blood Mage and it just felt like an all-around downgrade. I spec'd out of it and felt better. Feeling like I'm killing myself when I cast just feels bad.

You cant respec ascendancy points using a greater number of orbs of regret like in POE 1?

They mean the base ascendancy

the points you can refund but not reroll the base, poe1 think of rolling a elementalist to necromancer

will most likely added, seems like an oversight.
