My gem stash doesn't work!

I filled up my first gem stash tab so I bought another one because gems keep dropping but the new one doesn't work. I can't any gems in it automatically or manually and my gems keep piling up. Not sure what to do. Please help!

uncheck the affinity for the old tab, check that affinity is set for new tab? also why do you need more than 500 gems?
