Less recovery of life, mana and energy shield going over 100%

so i just failed a map because the modifiers on my waystone got 104% less recovery, as such my ES wdid not recharge, my flasks recover 0 mana and 0 life.
i can understand making the modifiers hard but this is absolute bad design.... having no life regen i can get behind that but no life from flasks? whats the idea? expecially when you made an ascendacy class that uses both life and mana.... lvl 93 and for the first time i killed myself casting my own skills.

Edit: i killed myself trying to check if blood orbs would grant life, i did not get to see it. but something tells me it wouldn't.

The modifier is 60% less recovery.

You boosted it over 100% with your atlas passives, this is what +% to explicit modifers on waystones does. Things that restore life/mana/ES instantly will still work, just not over time recovery.

i know very well why it got to 104%, i just didnt assume it would translate to life flask recovery. so it also afect life leech.

thank you for answering my question regarding blood remnants. guess ill have to make a flask specifically for those....

Edit: i still think that value should NEVER be 100%, we cant go 100% max ele resistance aswell

There are certain WS modifiers that certain builds just cant do. While it does suck, it is s learning point. Either the atlas point isnt worth it, or you just have to pay attention to your mods.

yeh it does make sense, even in POE1 there were those mods for certain builds.
as for worthy or not is early for me to say, its it was my 3rd map with my new atlas tree. it is a gamble as in it either afects suffixes or prefixes.

this time sucked but the 2 other maps it hit the rarity, quantity and pack and magic/rare monster modifiers. i did have a blast exploding evrything and hearing stuff droping.
