Frozen on strongbox open.. never regain control of character

Opened a strongbox with "Freezes you on activation"

Became frozen (assumed charm had proc'd earlier, as I could not move)

Became worried as I was continually unable to move character (assumed monsters were refreezing me, nothing was visible)

Passive abilities killed all the monsters, character unable to move. Was able to activate flask.

Think I might be stuck in terrain somehow (near edge of map, but not overlapping on minimap) attempt portal. Get "You cannot use a portal at this time"

Several minutes later (after typing this out), log to character select

has happened to me multiple times as well :(
