Crossplay between console and Steam

Is it possible to crossplay my characters between Xbox and Steam?
I have linked my accounts, and I know how to switch between accounts on each format. However if I create a character on say Steam, I cannot see it on xbox or vice versa. Am I missing something or is this functionality not supported? Thanks Last bumped on Jan 26, 2025, 5:28:18 AM

These players can now merge these accounts together so that they can play across both platforms. When merging accounts, both sub-accounts will still exist and have their characters listed separately.
