Cast on "Trigger" tooltip problem
Ran into the Cast on "Trigger" wording "triggers socketed spells" which confused the hell out of me and made me think the it was bugged.
Upon first read I would expect every player to assume that the tooltip refers to every skill socketed on the char in the Skills menu. Especially when you can place support gems in the skill's sockets (the same socket the skill gems are suppose to go into) The "Missing socketed skill" error made me think there might be a bug because it just made no sense. And I only realized a day later when I accidentally selected a skill gem instead of a support gem in my inventory. I genuinely have no idea how you could be reword the tooltip to prevent the confusion. You somehow need to tell players to socket spell gems into what is typically a support gem slot; all within a menu where you socket skill gems. It's a nested terminology nightmare. Bruh come on, you just didn't read the whole tooltip for the skills
It's literally at the end " Last edited by ryo3000#2773 on Jan 25, 2025, 10:13:00 PM

I could see a small UI change being made to help with clarity.
They could add an image to the center and/or highlight the first socket to indicate a skill gem should be inserted rather than a support gem. There's never harm in adding clarity and should (I'd hope) require very little dev time to implement. Last edited by Nasar#8074 on Jan 25, 2025, 10:22:33 PM
