Trade woes and unkillable mobs. They are linked to one another. SSF as well.

I am sure there are others in the same boat. That hate the trade market due to duping/exploits performed by cheaters and those that profiteer in a crooked market during the time the exploit/duping is occurring. I want to play the game and have fun, not have to play 1 of a few select meta builds to progress in endgame. Not to mention most of these meta builds require either 100s of hours to get gear, or exploitation of duping and the damage done to trade market. SSF was to me a way to avoid the frustration of never being able to "catch the wave" before trade inflates to ludicrous levels that are beyond so many players. I play a minion build. SSF and if a map has Regen mob on it I just have no chance of killing it. I use curses and pets that should melt it like other rare mobs, but it seems to regen all my damage in a second or two. These mobs feel like a dps check wall that take an hour to kill if they can be killed at all. Only meta/mdps builds can pass. I think most meta builds are cookie cutter builds that people find on the net. I do not want to play builds I do not discover and have no hope of equipping myself. That is the challenge, but this game with regen mobs are unfriendly to SSF and totally destroy the possibility of fun doing it. I loved poe1 in the early days of the game, it was fun, finding synergies and able to eventually equipping a build you made yourself. Poe2, seems like an elitist game now, where if you do not play mega dps or meta builds you have no hope. I am on the verge of quitting, but I hope that GGG can make a casual version of SSF. A version where someone else's exploits/game play will not push items out of your reach. I am just waiting now to hear all the flames from those that like the SSF not to be changed. Mostly because I think if they knew that there is a chance to become SSF and have fun they have wasted time with a meta/mdps build. Please be easy on me flamers and try to see where I am coming from.
