Please make heavy balancing not tied to resets

This is early access who really cares? If you tie balance patches to resets you will get like 3-4 balance patches before proposed release date and looking at your current game it will be unbalanced mess as we have now, especially considering you will add 2x more ascendecies than we have now and more powercreep systems. would be way better if you nerf any op things asap and bring up all underpowered things as soon as u see something isnt working

I actually fully agree with you, but you saw what a meltdown people had when Co* builds got nerfed.

I think GGG is extremely hesitant to alienate the players who are playing broken builds that do not flat out break the server.

I fully expected to be bricked last patch and I would have been fine with it.
You are asking for too much. The game is in maintenance mode and asking for changes more than quarter annually is a pipe dream.

I do not agree with that, 90% of balance patches is literally changing numbers. In some cases they need to rework whole mechanic and i agree with you if thats the case, but numerical nerf/buffs take little effort and easy to impliment
Early Access (glorified beta) is the time to make sweeping changes. Iteration isn't going to happen otherwise.

The problem is that PoE2 is falling into the same trap as other Early Access titles (see: Deadlock), where the devs need to present a glorified beta as a full release to retain players and make investors happy. This puts the devs between a rock (retain players) and a hard place (experiment with changes that could be good for the game, but may upset players and drive them away). It's even worse when you remember that part of the playerbase makes money off this game from RMT services, and that forcing them to discover new farming builds every other patch would give them booboos that make them scream and cry.
