Suggestion to make item hunting more fun and divines more useful - mod roll weights & ranges
Currently, the tier of the mod basically determines if the item is good or not, the range of the mods basically determines this, also the weights of getting mods make item hunting absolutely not fun, especially if you are a ssf player.
Suggestion to fix this - normalize the weights for mods, but make the higher tier mods lower value roll all the way to the bottom, to T1 value, but make the higher value roll remain the same, here is a small example: Currently: T1 (10-20) T2 (20-30) T3 (30-40).... it's not fun and the weights make it nothing like lotto, it's a lotto that is rigged, no one wants to play a rigged lotto, D2 item hunting was much more fun. Suggested fix: T1(10-20) T2 (10-30) T3 (10-40).... but have the mod weights adjusted so higher tier mods roll more frequently than they are currently, this will make item hunting more fun, while also making divines useful besides fixing astromentis or invictus. Thank you for your time viewing this, and I hope the essence of this idea somehow makes it through into the game so we all can enjoy item hunting again, without being overwhelmed with useless drops, having 1000 items drop on the floor but knowing damn well they are garbage is only dopamine fueled the first time you have 1000 items on the floor, but after you discover they are all trash every time it really takes away the rush, forever. Also on a side note - a small suggestion for SSF crowd, make SSF characters not transferable to current league, this will allow you to make changes to SSF without worrying about bot farms abusing the mechanic, this would allow you to adjust mod weights for SSF, as currently it's balanced for thousands of players gathering, and more magic find will not fix this, it'll just mean more useless items on the floor to ignore, (it also kills crafting, no one wants to aug/trans 50 items per map to find them all trash.)
