What are these things (remnants?) that suddenly started appearing?

This is a weird one: This effect suddenly started appearing (or I just started noticing it?) and I don't know what it is. I mean the greyish things on the right.
 https://imgur.com/a/2JSKNEs It looks like some kind of remnant, appears over every corpse and I can collect it but don't see any effect. I don't have grim feast or mana remnants. I'm Pathfinder and my buffs are Wind Dancer, Plague Bearer and Withering Presence with Cannibalism. None of these create these things. MTX? are you using a MTX chest that gets effect when you pick them up maybe?
