why repeat mistakes ?

The current state of Path of Exile 2 (PoE2) compared to Path of Exile 1 (PoE1) reminds me of my initial experience with Diablo 3 (D3) after waiting a decade for a successor to Diablo 2 (D2).

With PoE1, the game developed a solid fanbase and, for many of us, became the true successor to D2. However, it feels like PoE2 is making the same mistake that Blizzard did with D3—throwing too much overboard. I understand that the design team is different, but why alter elements that worked well in PoE1 and start over with what feels like an empty game?

Upon reaching the endgame, PoE2 feels like PoE1 stripped of the extensive content added over the years. For example, the crafting mechanics seem poorly thought out, almost as if a junior developer simply copied and pasted features—like adding another omen for regals—resulting in additions that feel utterly useless.

Also some uniques and meta builds seem poorly thought out, it's just going to end like in poe1, 99.9 % will just copy a build which needs unique X Y and Z and all other builds are going to suck.

Why not remove uniques after all, or at least make em really feel "unique" ( much rarer than a good rare ) and remove the orb of chance.

The orb of chance mechanic is a poor design anyway, for example now the stellar amulet is worth like 90 exalted, but the amu which gives liferegen is totaly useless ? why ? .......

I had high expecations for poe2 but the design and current state of the game are realy disappointing and I doubt you guys can fix this until release....

I mean it's almost like things take time to develop?
Copy pasted builds are unfortunately always going to be the case because people will always want to play '' the best '' too and are kinda sheep who religiously listen to streamers and youtubers.

'' Early access '' ( lets be real here we're paying to alpha test the game for them, it's just alpha... ) is also a good time to test new things and see what sticks they can always change it later if it doesn't.

You're not wrong with the current issues, but like isn't getting it fixed for release the entire point of EA?
