PoE 1 was what Players want at a time, but ...
... PoE 2 is not. For me, that is.
When I see that there was a work on PoE 2 I, first time in a looong time, I was happy - hyped, if you prefer. I throw away my rule to not buy full game and I spend my time invest in it. There was a things that I like; - Slower Combat - love it - Better Graphic - bravo ... but, that was it. In contrary, the thing I dislike was; - New Skill Gem System - base 100% on rng, forced limitation on lvl and "what can be socked" and where, force us to spend points in stats which (for me) are useless, and so on ... - Minions - even with upgrades they do almost no damage, die quick, do not aggro mobs (and never bosses), and without our support / attack they are useless - Corpse Management - do not exist - Spirit System - on paper is good, it give boost to you ... If You Do Not Have Minions, as to have passives, you must reduce your power by deleting minions And many more ... And I feel sad about above. PoE was my "healing" after this "My Little Diablo 3" thing, but now? Dear Devs, if you are reading this, please, I beg you, do the same thing you do when you start work on PoE , which is; Learn From Every Other Game To Improve Yours For example - Last Epoch. There, I get Passives every lvl, I get Skills every X lvl, I get Advanced Class, and so on ... But! The moment I choose to specialize in a Skill (and can be done to 5 skills) it can change in so many ways and it feel awesome. It is like; Last Epoch Devs look upon PoE Skill Gems and state - It is good. Now, how we can improve it? Can you, dear Devs, look upon they system and ask yourself; Which one is better?
