Waystone drop chance modifier is dogshit
I just spent a T15 with +650% waystone dropchance, and I get a total of zero t15 maps drops.
-------------------------------------------------------------------------------- Why this happen?? answer: Because any map can drop any tier of Waystone -------------------------------------------------------------------------------- How to fix?? answer: Make the waystone drop up to one level less than the current used Waystone -------------------------------------------------------------------------------- Why this is important? answer: Map progression. When you doing a map, usually you will discart any waystone with 2+ less level than current waystone. In resume, waystone with too much lower tier is usually just junk. They will not be picked, they will waste the drop poll for better waystone. -------------------------------------------------------------------------------- But why this is actually really important, and its so frustranting? answer: Simple because the threat level of a map is directly proportional to the waystone dropchance. So I simple took very high risk of mob haste, mob more dmg, mob more chaos dmg, etc, to drop tier 10 waystones. This makes no sense. Why would I ever risk lose exp and mechanics again just to drop t10 less waystones if I'm currently playing t15/t16 maps almost all the time? " Ok, if your base is like 0.0010. The 650% will make it 0.0065. I mean... I can totally expect the deviation screwing me, if I run only one map. What I do not get is why you do not see it? |

" Bro. I have the atlas full waystone and rare focused. I wish this was just a rare case. But it's not first time something like that happens. Actually I feel like the maps with more prefix and like 90% waystone drop have been dropping more t15 than these high drop chance waystones. |

" I've been selling my t15 maps that I don't want to run to npcs. Having a lot of quantity helps massively with map sustain. To give you an idea, I only run maps that have rarity/IIQ or % inc rare monster with 6 mods and mostly at 280% waystone drop chance. When I finish setting up my towers, usually a waypoint node has anywhere form 50 to 100+ increased quantity from tablets. Note that the 50 to 100+ increased quantity is just on waypoint node view, you still have atlas node that increase it and the highest I've seen is 300+ . Hope that helps. " It is perfectly normal. Please, try to understand, it is not a fixed number. It is a game of probability. 10% chance to get no maps. 80% chance to get between 1-4 maps. 10% chance to get 5 or more maps. (Numbers are out of my ass, just as example.) I have this *on kitchen napkin* here, recorded divine drops from last 40 maps with random fellas. 2 (wow) ------ 0 (life isn't fair) ------- 1 (15 fucking maps until I see one) ----- 1 (this is the last) ----- Overall, every 10 maps, daddy gets 1. Sometimes I have to play 15 maps without getting a single one. Some times I see two in the same map. It is a game of chance man... |
