which part of Stormweaver Asc is OP?

hey, i'm trying to build around an item right now but I don't see a clear OP portion of Stormweaver. is it some form of interaction with an item here? Everyone is yelling archmage stormweaver but gempling would work better for archmage imo. lil lost here, any tips? (not interested in build guides)

scouring winds with a little bit of tree investment lets you loose all curse needs
strike twice is flat 20% more damage constant gale is a support gem and the small nodses are 8% mana but the kicker is force of will. you have 6k mana(which is not really hard) = 400% arcane surge effect = 40% MORE cast speed and 80% MORE mana reg. yes MoM downside is a joke against this. " i see, thank you. i suspected Arcane Surge since it was the only clear synergy with mana stacking, didn't realize it was that strong for both offense and defense. good stuff, this might work for me. tyvm |
