All characters got deleted

I recently bought the early access for Path of Exile 2. I played Path of Exile 1 for a while, and I was so excited as I've been waiting for years the sequel.
Everything was going well, I had my Monk at around level 27, and my friend told me that since I bought the early access $30 pack, that I should have gold available in my microtransactions shop. Howver, while in game, there was nothing. No gold. So, I just now logged into my account on my computer, the path of exile website, and I saw that one of my character accounts assosicated with my E-mail had the 300 gold, so I tried to fuse the accounts, and then my characters I've been working on in Early Access have been completely removed! Could you please help me? I don't want to go back and start again. I was really enjoy thing game, and I've introduced a lot of friends to PoE. It's so disappointing to have to start again. The 300 gold should have been available in my PoE game... Please help! Last bumped on Jan 24, 2025, 11:08:54 PM

Hey after you linked/merged accounts its logging you in on the new sub account.
Just make a new character then log out to character select screen now look top right you'll see a drop down menu switch sub accounts and you'll have your old chars back but sadly your points will still be on the other sub account. Linking/merge doesn't actually merge items or points |
