Ritual league mechanic

I'm at level 97 on my main and 90 on my alt. Needless to say, it's hundreds of hours in the game. I have cleared hundreds of Rituals. I HAVE NEVER SEEN The Audience with the King. Not once.

Why are do you design content for it to be nearly impossible to access for players? I understand that some items and rewards must be extremely rare. But a whole league mechanic?

Access to playable content must be made more deterministic. Breach is a good example. It's a grind but you're guaranteed a degree of progress every time you engage. Delirium is slow but with some knowledge and commitment you can boost progress. Ritual (and also to a lesser extent Expeditions) are locked behind pure RNG, and many players simply don't get to play it.

Buy an audience and kill the boss to get two atlas points for it, get the nodes that lets you reroll a second time. That will increase the chance to get an audience by 50% per map.

Trading doesn't solve the issue in SSF.

As to Expedition, which I like...

I have 8K es. 48% armor. 80% fire res. 78 Cold. 77 Lightning. 75 Chaos.

All Ascendancies. Heatproofing.

I'm in an hallway, all mobs coming in front of me. I have 8 Skeletal arsenists. 3 Stormmage. 3 Priests.


After 15sec (or so) something invisible comes thru ALL MY MINIONS and kills me oneshotted.

Yeee. Happened two times in 2 sequential maps.

Guess I suck.

Anyhoo, I crave for violence so I'm gonna play something with a LOT of ammo and mindless Violence.
